Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)

The Developmental Disabilities Administration provides leadership to assure the full participation of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in all aspects of community life.

Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)

The Maryland State Department of Education develops and implements standards and policy for education programs from pre-kindergarten through high school. MSDE also oversees technical education, rehabilitation services, and library programs throughout the state's 24 local systems.

The Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS);

The Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS); offers programs and services that help people with disabilities go to work or stay independent in their homes and communities.

The Maryland Department of Disabiliities (MDOD)

MDOD is charged with unifying Maryland state policy regarding people with disabilities. MDOD oversees the restructuring, reorganization of government delivery of services; programs for people with disabilities in Maryland through collaboration with all state government agencies. It has the authority to review and refocus regulatory provisions governing services and supports to people with disabilities, review and refocus budgetary emphasis regarding services and supports to people with disabilities, and implement governmental performance outcomes measured by consumer satisfaction.

The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council

The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council is a public policy organization comprised of people with disabilities and family members who are joined by state officials, service providers and other designated partners. The Council is an independent, self-governing organization that represents the interests of people with developmental disabilities and their families. The Council informs the Governor, General Assembly and state officials of the concerns of people with disabilities and their families (click here to see an organizational chart). It participates in coalitions and partnerships promoting quality approaches to support people with disabilities according to their individual choices, abilities and needs.

Maryland Disability Law Center

The Maryland Disability Law Center (MDLC) is a private, non-profit organization staffed by attorneys and paralegals. MDLC is the Protection and Advocacy organization for Maryland.

Maryland One-Stop Career Centers

Maryland One-Stop Career Centers are located in each of Maryland's counties and Baltimore City. Job seekers and businesses will find the Maryland One-Stop Career Career Centers leaders in using state-of-the-art technologies to match people with jobs and jobs with people.

TransCen, Inc.

Transcen "Transition Center" is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving educational and employment outcomes for people with disabilities.The associates at TransCen, Inc. develop, implement, and research innovations regarding school-to-adult life transition and career development for people with disabilities.
